A1. Latest physical layer test methodologies in SATA/SAS 6G
Serial ATA (SATA) interoperability is critical for success in disk drive storage system designs. With many advances in storage technology, it is even more critical to stay connected with the updated transfer methodologies.
What you will learn:
- Speed up the setup and measurement reporting for SATA interop compliance testing with TekExpress - a one-button solution for PHY test automation and device-state contro
- Reliability of DSA70000B series oscilloscopes for precise characterization using the 5th Harmonic when working with the next generation SATA 6 Gb/sec standard
- Overview of Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) 2
- Key parameters that help determine the optimal solution for your designs
A2. Fast, Efficient Solutions for HDMI 1.4 Compliance Measurement Challenges
The consumer electronics industry is undergoing a digital revolution in performance on display technologies. The growth in plasma/LCD flat panel display sizes and pixel counts has driven the need for faster and more efficient bus technologies. Being a compact audio/video/data interface for transmitting uncompressed video/audio and Ethernet data, High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) requires a disciplined approach to interoperability/compliance testing.
What you will learn:
- Insights to critical elements of the HDMI PHY Layer test requirements
- Proven test methods for validation of HDMI 1.4a and Direct Synthesis solution to take HDMI Sink testing to a new level
- Tips on improving HDMI 1.4a product and test capability
A3. Validate, Debug and Compliance of PCIe 2.0 and 3.0 Designs
As a proactive steward actively participating and sharing across today's most important standards bodies, Tektronix is truly the engineer's advocate. Whether you design to one standard or across many, shouldn't somebody be considering all of them on your behalf, and thinking about exactly how you're going to test in your environment? When your designs pass, you are certain that they've passed industry's most balanced analysis.
What you will learn:
- In-depth coverage on PCI Express solutions - the most powerful and complete test portfolio for Transaction, Link and Physical Layer Testing
- Gain confidence in the global interoperability of your devices using Tektronix' comprehensive range of high performance solutions
A4. Increase Productivity with Tektronix' Vector Signal Analysis Solutions
One of the paramount trends in today's communications and radar systems is the need for increased information bandwidth and accurate phase and magnitude characterization of wideband signals. To resolve design challenges quickly and efficiently, designers would need industry’s most comprehensive tool set for ultra-wideband technologies.
What you will learn:
- How Tektronix' Vector Signal Analysis tool which combines the signal analysis engine of the RSA6100A Real-time Spectrum Analyzer with the powerful triggering capabilities of the industry’s widest bandwidth DPO7000 and DPO/DSA70000B Digital Oscilloscope Series would enable designers to evaluate complex signals up to 20 GHz without a need for an external down converter.
- Increase productivity for engineers working on wideband RF components and system design, integration and performance verification or operations engineers working in networks or spectrum management.
